Attending the Australian Tourism Export Council’s Leaders Forum earlier this month, it was a pleasure to meet inspirational sportswoman and Melbourne Cup winning jockey Michelle Payne. Michelle addressed delegates and tourism industry leaders and joined celebrated journalist and broadcaster Richard Morecroft for a Q&A style interview. Michelle is not only a great ambassador for sport but has helped bring global attention to major events in Australia, a driver in our $32.5 billion export tourism industry.
