With Australia’s busy Easter holiday period over for another year, the RV Geeks hit the road to continue their journey to Sydney via The Legendary Pacific Coast, Australia’s most accessible, year round road-trip experience. I caught up with them after their stay at the Big 4 Byron Holiday Park on a heaven on a stick kind of day in Byron Bay to give them some tips on places to stay and things to do in Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie , Port Stephens , Newcastle and places in between Here’s a clip of our catch up.
Turns out that not only are the RV Geeks dab hands at mechanical repairs and maintenance of RVs, campervans and motorhomes, but they are both blues fans who leapt at the opportunity to check out the magic that is Bluesfest over Easter. Here’s a short clip of what they saw.
I met The RV Geeks on a recent trip to North America promoting our client The Legendary Pacific Coast as part of the Australia’s Best Drives campaign. Peter and John are full-time RVers (recreational vehicle drivers) with 60,000+ subscribers on You Tube. Our meeting was particularly serendipitous. Responding to a email from a colleague introducing me to the RV Geeks ahead of their trip to Australia, we discovered that we were all headed for Desert Hot Springs, southern California and would be within 30 minutes of each other the next day! Given the RV Geeks spent their year on the road around North America and Canada, this was a chance meeting that was meant to happen! What followed was a meet and greet were to exchanged contacts, learned a bit more about what the RV Geeks do and agreed to catch up again in Australia.
