Surfer Rosa Communications clients Lets Go Surfing Australia and Byron Bay Bluesfest took home gold awards in their respective categories of Adventure Tourism and Major Festivals and Events at the North Coast Tourism  & Legendary Pacific Coast Awards ceremony held in Port Macquarie on the weekend.

The Awards dinner, held at Cassegrain Wines to recognise excellence in tourism was attended by tourism and hospitality businesses from Port Stephens to the Tweed.

It was an emotional night too with awards going to Cameron Arnold and Belinda Novicky (respectively Chair and Executive Officer of North Coast Destination Network) for richly deserved Individual Contributions to Regional Tourism.  The successes of the North Coast NSW tourism industry and the Legendary Pacific Coast  over the past eight years were celebrated ahead of recently announced changes to regional tourism structures in New South Wales rolling out in late 2016.

Surfer Rosa Communications has represented The Legendary Pacific Coast internationally for the past four years, and wrote the winning award submissions for the teams at Lets Go Surfing Australia and Byron Bay Bluesfest. The honours however, belong to these valued and highly respected  tourism and event businesses who create  incredible, immersive tourism experiences for locals, visitors and audiences from around the globe. It’s our pleasure to work with such innovative and passionate clients.  You ought to be, and are, congratulated!
