Take 3 for Byron campaign reduces plastic pollution by 4.6%

During the peak tourism season of the Australian summer, we directed a responsible travel campaign to reduce plastic pollution in Byron Shire, New South Wales. In the process, we gave visitors a way to connect with the community, engaged the town’s tourism industry and did something measurably good for the coastal and marine environments of Byron Bay. The campaign was conceived, developed and executed by Surfer Rosa Communications, and was funded by Byron Shire Council through a licence agreement with conservation movement Take 3 for the Sea.
